Annabell Duft
Annabell is a community dance artist based in London. After pursuing their BA (Hons) in Movement Pedagogy in Social Work in their home country Germany, they recently graduated from Trinity Laban with distinction in the MFA Dance Leadership and Community Practice. Annabell now works in and around London as a dance facilitator and access worker. She has been and is involved with renowned participatory arts organisations such as AMICI Dance Theatre Company, Royal Academy of Dance, Breathe Arts Research, Trinity Laban and Stopgap Dance Company.
Annabell’s passion for moving creatively together with everyone and everybody guided them to develop an artistic practice that aims to build inclusive, creative, caring and non-hierarchical spaces. She endeavours to share the joy, beauty and power of dance based on the belief that movement is a catalyst for empowerment, community and change. Outside of dance, they love a craft project, find joy in other ways of moving, especially gymnastics and bouldering, and will frequently be found in a handstand.
Annabell is currently the teacher for our Youth Dance Programme in Kingston.
