TRACEWORKS PROJECTS

Jazz Scene

2016-17

Our premier project, Jazz Scene was a syncopated, spirited and vibrant contemporary dance work inspired by and performed to the upbeat, nostalgic accompaniment of the Tuxedo Jazz Orchestra. The dancers interweaved, both accenting and contrasting to the lively and characteristic music, celebrating their relationships as dancers and lifting the audiences to their feet. The work, which was a choreographic collaboration between the artists, was first performed at The Place, London as part of Resolution 2016 and later went on to be shared at other festivals & events across London and the South East.
