Join us for the Kingston 2025 launch on Saturday 3 May in Kingston’s Ancient Market Place! (free event). We’re honoured to be presenting a troupe of professional dancers as part of the headline performance of Athelstan Among Us, and are delighted to be involved in such a celebratory event.

Opening at 12 noon with community performances in and around Kingston’s Town Centre, watch K-Pop, Jazz, drumming, dancing, singing and more!

At 1.45pm the foot stomping Ukrainian brass band, Freedom Pulse, will strike up in the Market Place to prepare everyone for a unique street performance of Athelstan Among Us at 2.30pm. Get ready for a riotous whizz through a thousand years of Kingston’s history! With music, dance, plenty of jokes and some surprises along the way, this specially written, one off family friendly show, is not to be missed!

Kingston 2025 is a landmark cultural celebration of past, present and future in the Royal Borough of Kingston. The flagship celebration marks the 1100th anniversary of the crowning of King Athelstan, the first King of a united England, right in the heart of Kingston in 925.
