B40 Youth Dance Company
(2016-21)
Led by Traceworks Co-Director Julian Lewis, in partnership with Greenwich Leisure Limited, B40 Youth Dance Company was a contemporary dance programme providing technical training and performance experience for aspiring young dancers in South East London. Throughout his time leading the group, Julian delivered weekly sessions enabling the dancers to improve their contemporary dance technique and learn and create exciting choreography. He facilitated the company’s involvement at an extensive range of performance opportunities across London, including the Greenwich + Docklands International Festival, Thrive Youth Dance Festival, RichDance, Greenwich Dance’s Moving Eltham, EVOLVE Dance Platform, Eltham Lights Up and Berkeley Homes events/Christmas lights switch-ons in Kidbrooke and Royal Arsenal Woolwich.
